The problem with this idea is that Buchner was the transfer QB Bama chose to go after.

Not Sam Hartman, Devin Leary, Spencer Sanders, Kedon Clovis, or any of the 30 or so QB's with higher transfer grades.

Showing that decision sucked and that the guy already on the roster was a better choice isn't exactly a great thing. It shows Bama made a bad decision in the transfer market more than showing that Milroe is good.
Milroe committed to Texas and Tom Herman's run first offense. He is a great athlete and is faster and has a stronger arm than Sam Ehlinger.

With the right coaching and offense, I think Milroe would do really well. Sitting in the pocket and making multiple reads is negating his skill set.

He had a couple of bad reads and throws against Texas. Can't blame him for being gun shy, he was on the run all night and got sacked 5 times. Any other QB would have been sacked a lot more than that.

Good coaching move my Saban. Let Milroe watch and learn, and get his confidence up. And in the process, give all the so called "fans" and "band wagoners" a big F You.
