Bama fans just assumed the next Tua/Mac/Jalen/Bryce was on the roster and they were being forced to watch someone else play. Milroe is an average starting SEC qb and still your best option. Sometimes reality is underwhelming.

i'm not sure that milroe can't be developed. but if he can, it's going to take 2 seasons. simpson is younger than milroe, so he'll be getting snaps when they can afford to give them to him.
