The truth is, Bobo isn’t Monken, but he is running Monken’s offense. He is also breaking in a new QB. The defense is good enough to not require our offense to score a ton of points. It is also clear that Kirby wants high% plays that move the sticks and minimizes chances of turnovers. The net affect is our offense runs more plays than the other team, which wears down the opposing defense. It has been a good plan so far. We have gone down field just enough to keep them honest and have not had the need to do so more to date. It doesn’t mean we can’t. It means we don’t have to.
