Effective short passes are a good thing as an alternative to telegraphed run plays.
You actually argue there should have been more short passes on 3rd and short when we got stonewalled a number of times.
Those plays under Center weren't cuttin' it.
It's clear that our OL is not strong enough to overpower the opposing defense on obvious 3rd and short run plays.

We converted 3 4th and 1 plays last game which were huge. Two we overpowered them and 1 we “telegraphed “ the run and then did a little waggle pass for the 1st down…
