My problem with Bobo isn’t that I think he’s a bad OC. It’s at at times he makes some inexplicable calls. They’re real head scratchers for me.

I have a question for you, and would appreciate your honest answer.
Georgia had an opening for a OC after Monken left. If Bobo wasn’t a former player, a former coach at Georgia and friend of Kirby, do you think he would have been Kirby’s first choice to fill the position?

Yes. He was brought in to be the next OC after Monken left (which nearly happened after the '21 season).

It was always Kirby's plan to have Bobo as OC. Buster Faulkner was never going to get the job and that's why he left for Tech.

ETA: I just realized that I may not have answered the question. I do believe he'd have hired Bobo regardless of if they were boys or not. I also believe Bobo knows that he has a pretty short leash as OC under Kirby. Maybe not James Coley short, but it is short.

Sometimes those plays work. When Monken called a weird play that went for big yards, did you or others think "Why did the idiot call that play?" Some of Bobos calls work. Some don't.
