We did it on severalthird downs.
Third downs in key situations and we throw the ball at the line of scrimmage with unblocked defenders in front of the play. We were 0 for 3.
I understand that we don't trust our OL against a blitz, yet. But to choose not to have routes that reach the sticks is tough to swallow when it happens over and over and fails to convert.

Yeah since we're saying that's an extension of the run game, we ran the ball on 3rd down with 5+ yards to go a lot yesterday.
And like you said, it not like we had a numbers advantage.
