UGA on the other hand has GT, Auburn and Florida ahead of SC. I'd put SC at 4th on our list, but other UGA fans might have more hate for Clemson or Tennessee.

It is always geographic for Georgia fans (Columbus = Auburn, Valdosta = Florida, Augusta = Clemson or South Carolina, Dalton = Tennessee, Atlanta = GT).
Largest state east of the Mississippi. And College Football is regional.

In my experience the majority of UGA fans consider UF our biggest rivalry with Auburn being a close second and, especially for Dawg fans over 45 or so Georgia Tech. UGA and UT have played some good games but at the end of the day we just haven't played one another often enough for the game to be a rival. The same goes for LSU and the Mississippi schools. We have played and beaten South Carolina so often that they are certainly not a rival. They are less competitive against us in football than Vandy or Kentucky. They were, until they joined a conference, a rent a win for UGA. Clem's son was the same...just a good tune up game for conference play. Yes, both schools from South Carolina have beaten UGA but they have gotten beaten far more often...
