Some people have some semblance of manners. Perhaps there was no compelling reason to take up airtime on an SEC-oriented message board (as an LSU fan via my ex, I was mostly over on the TD side), so like a plus-1 at a party full of strangers, I was a polite guest and didn't try to make it about me.
Now that Texas is moving to the SEC, it's a little more relevant and I'm happy to participate a bit more.

I do find it quite strange the obsession, this board in particular, has on this topic, especially since it is never brought up by Texas fans. There are substantial differences between universities and sports fans.. across the country..

Lurking for 12 years isn't about manners. That's like living in somebody's attic for 12 years and then suddenly, one day, you lower the attic door and march into their living room to introduce yourself.
