I graduated from Alabama in 1992... great year, Gene Stallings brought home a national championship. The future seemed bright. The next 15 years were an exercise in futility, but every year I went to the games, and hoped for the best...
Nick Saban's arrival changed everything and Alabama had an unparalleled run. The greatest time in history to be in Alabama fan. Looks like that run may be coming to an end, I will be there either way, as will all the Alabama fans I know....What a ride though... and thank you Coach Saban

Let’s play the season out before we send Saban to the lake prematurely.

This must be the bargaining stage.

I'll allow it.

We really have become a spoiled-as-hell fan base. I remember some epic melts from the DuBose and Shula years vividly. Coach Saban will hang up the whistle when he’s damned good and ready. He’s still the GOAT and we can still win a lot of games this year.

You guys are such pathetic losers about this. So you're not a damned juggernaut anymore, big deal. Welcome to the club, pal. In what world did you think that run would last forever? What Bama was doing was an anomaly, not a norm.

Spoiled arse brats.

Look at your recruiting...you're still kicking everyone's arse. It's better for college football when everyone can beat each other.

What you aren’t fully appreciating is that Saban could be a shadow of his former self and he’d still likely be the best coach Alabama could reasonably expect to run its program.

There’s no switch to be flipped that will bring back peak Bama football. Dynasties don’t last forever.

I understand why Bama fans think they'll win it all every year. But by any logical thinking, this wasn't that year.

1. Replacing the top two players in the NFL draft who never won the national championship.
2. Replacing both coordinators. Even if it was an improvement, that's generally an adjustment that takes a year.
3. Changing the offensive identity and style of play. Just not a light switch type of thing you can easily turn on.

I wouldn't put Nick out to pasture just yet. Lonergan may be the guy and next year should be a year to think big.

The tide is changing and schools like Texas, USC, TAM, FSU, and others are competitive now due to NIL.. Alabama is no longer the school recruiting 5 stars by the dozen.

Saban doesn’t even get upset on sidelines anymore. He’s already gone.

A transition has happened to where Bama will always be good but they are no longer great and can be beat against good teams on any given Saturday like 98% of college teams. Saban still may win another championship before he hangs it up, but the time where Bama is the top dog year in and year out is over.

Still the greatest run of all time. Week in and week out Bama was a lock to dominate. It was an unprecedented thing to watch.

Coach Saban needs an OC who can take advantage of his talented dual-threat QB.
On defense, they need to find a way to get pressure on the opposing QBs.

Y’all are wild

Bama currently has the #4 returning class for 2024, just lost to the #11 team, and somehow the sky is falling

Maybe it’s not 2015 anymore but bama is fine

I've witnessed 9 NC titles in my lifetime. If Bama never wins another its been one hell of a run. Roll Tide!
