The important question isn’t being asked…were there injuries to report?

As the reason for losing

no… the real question is does the Georgia excuse “they didn’t want to be there” come into play?

In a bowl game then yea that is always the case in a non playoff bowl

These comments from UGA fans really point to 5he fact that deep down you know 21 was a title decided in the training room. That title really does count. Learn to enjoy it Pups.

We enjoy the excuses by our foes because Bama always has them

BCS days but you already know that right?
So if a team doesn’t want to be there why accept the invite?

I can guarantee you Georgia will want to be there when they play Texas. After having your program forced down the SECs throat and the sheer arrogance and entitlement your fans display - yeah!- Georgias gonna be ready and they really really will want to be there this time. Bring it on.

The reason Alabama fans point out injuries in 21 is because with the two players who got hurt playing - Alabama destroyed Georgia. It’s not a “what if” scenario - you saw what happened when Metchie and Williams were on the field.
Enjoy back to back and move on.

It doesn't anymore. The UT Sugar Bowl was the last time UGA let guys who had already checked out for the NFL draft play in a bowl game.
At that point, we had a bunch of guys who were already half way out the door. Now, Kirby tells those guys to go ahead and declare and he plays younger guys in the bowls when we aren't in the playoff. It's not the same team that got to the bowl, but those playing all want to be there.
Kirby makes mistakes. He learns from them though.

I don't see you giving Georgia the trophy for 2017 when Javon Wims and Sony Michel got hurt during the game. So with all things being equal we will keep ours.

Who was (or wasn’t) hurt last night? You guys got beat by the better team. It is what is. Get over it

Weren't you the same fans blasting Texas fans for saying what if when Colt McCoy got knocked out of the championship game? So injuries do matter?
