This is recency bias without any validity. How many titles has Saban won with a 5* qb as starter? Exactly 0.(Tua didn't start the game)
Defenses being behind offenses and his lack of good coaching/development on that side of the ball is when the dynasty began to show chinks. His defenses are the reason for the decline. They can't cover(the asses) average, game managers(Milroe) anymore. They couldn't carry Bryce Young.
