I think your sock has a hole in it.

If you think high school stats automatically carry over to college your dumber than your comment.

If you couldn't see that Horn was tentative, slow, looked confused, played like a deer in headlights then you're not only stupid you're blind.

Why do people keep ignoring what the coaching staff (and Chase Daniel) have seen in practice?

Sam Horn may be a great quarterback at Mizzou. He's not there yet.

Why would you subject him to our sieve of an offensive line at this point in his career? Because you hate Brady Cook?

Who knows, maybe Drink will start Horn and let him play the entire game against k-State. If we're going to lose anyway (which everyone has already decided) then put him in and let him get his arse kicked repeatedly to shut you dumb frickers up about it.

Let's look back at the thread title ...

"Let's Talk About How Bad Drink is at Evaluating Talent"

Then you assume and explain that I don't know much about college football recruiting, talent evaluation, etc. Sure, Jan. You have no idea who I am but let's just say I know a lot more about it than you think ...

Anyway, the point is and was ... Drink and the coaching staff (who are just his synchophants at this point) ARE BAD AT TALENT EVALUATION ...

As to starting Horn for K-State, that would be the right answer (since yes I think we're going to lose anyway) ... it would take all the pressure off him from the fan base and would be a win-win for him ... see I tried it, Horn threw 3 picks and we lost by 28 instead of 21 ...

But we've beaten this horse to death. Drink is a chicken shite coach who won't be on the sideline next year when he has lost the fanbase, regardless of posting another 6-6 record ...

An initial coaching committee is already underway as Mizzou athletics can't lose the revenue from football ... the extension play was the same as what happened with Cuonzo (shore up commits/recruits, assess transfers, etc) ... and Cuonzo was gone the following year after the extension ...because he lost the fanbase ...

All Drink had to do was shut his mouth and give Horn (or Garcia) a chance in these last 2 games but he's too arrogant and stupid to understand it at all ...

I agree to a point. Yes Horn looked tentative but...

Football coaches do the oddest thing. They develop depth everywhere except QB. The starter gets almost all the practice snaps, so no one else develops.

If Horn was made the starter and got more practice snaps, he would look better in games.
