He is still young and can get better at on the field play calling. One of the reasons he was hired was for his offensive mind and his offense has been bad for 3 years, but he has not had a regular season losing record and that’s not bad for a new Mizzou coach that was left with very little offensive talent especially in the SEC.

After calming down a bit (facilitated by beer, gin, and wine and a beautiful hint of fall fire pit this evening), the knot in my stomach is lessening and I’m trying to gain perspective. Drinkwitz may someday be a decent coach, but he is over his head at the moment. The SEC is not a proving ground. He’s simply not the guy for us right now. Frankly I don’t know who is but no one is offering me DRF money to figure it out. We’ve got to move on. I’m getting older and I have only so many rebuilding years left in me.

BTW…I’m a season ticket holder and will attend EVERY game this season no matter how bad it gets, so I’m not just talkin’ out my arse here. I’m staying invested!
