I would throw George Teague running down Lamar Thomas and completely embarrassing him in there as one of the greatest. But I’m biased as well.

It was absolutely a huge coaching blunder by Wiggin. He elected to take a time out with 5-6 seconds remaining on the clock instead of running it down to .02 seconds. Never leave time on the clock in that situation. Wiggin was fired the following year and replaced by Jack Elway, who had beaten Stanford three times while coaching at San Jose State. I was there, man, and all the Stanford fans were wondering why coach Wiggin left time on the clock.
