Nutt Averaged 7.5 wins a year over 10 years at Arkansas. Mostly 11 game reg seasons then.
Bowl games 8 out of 10 years.
Took us to 2 SEC Championship games.

Compare our record his 10 years vs the rest of the time we have been in the SEC. Its not close . By far our best run. We had good solid SEC teams.

His recruiting was very underated. He got railroaded by the Springdale/Mustain bunch. Records are what matters Check them out.

Mallet wasn’t coming due to how bad Nutt was with QBs.

Nutts ego caused all his issues.

There is a reason he couldn’t get RB coaching positions or even the A State job after OM.

Danny fords recruiting, Matt Jones and Darren McFadden are what made Nutt look like a decent coach. Also the SECW was a joke at the time compared to what it is now

I remember when Nutt had to scramble around before national signing day, offering players out of nowhere.

Quite the contrast to how Sam recruits.

Nutt could have had that average to 8 wins a year if he wasn't so stubborn regarding not giving up his OC duties and give it to a real OC.

Then he would get mad if he got criticism for not developing any QBs and double down.

Those kept his teams from being really good.
