Poor Vols, Mizzou has been more relevant since joining the SEC in 2012.

Just trying to wrap my head around how he could stay eligible after 7 years and not even have an associates degree.

You must have cleared the cob webs. This UT fella has been sitting there for a very very long time.

He transferred to a jr college and returned. I suspect all his jr college credits didn’t carry over.
I seem to remember him studying to be a lawyer. It has been reported he is now an Econ major. Takes longer when you change your major as I well know. It’s 2020 and Covid hits and all players get another year.
It’s not a secret that kids at UGA practically have to be kicked out the door. They don’t want to leave UGA or Athens and a lot try to stretch out their time as long as they can. Even after they graduate many stay in Athens.
Stetson has dreamed of playing football at UGA since he was a toddler I wouldn’t blame him for savoring his time there. He obviously took the required number of hours each semester and that’s all that matters.
Our rivals can say what ever they want. We all know he has a story worthy of a movie. He is a great QB. They know it too but are so jealous and butt hurt from the beats downs he put on them they post crap like we see on this board.

He played, and if they didn’t transfer then he would have been academically ineligible due to failing to meet minimum progress towards a degree requirement.

If he did the minimum to stay eligible then he has 2x the credits for a general studies degree that he doesn’t actually have.
Minimum credits for summer I, Summer II Fall, and Spring plus his higher standard to be a walkon means he could not spend 7 years at school and not have a degree.
