We'll regret letting Texas in almost as much as Aggie.

They are both terrible additions. One’s arrogant as shite for no reason and one’s a gay cult.
Florida State and Clemson would have been a much better fit.
Also would prefer over them:
Virginia
VT
NC
NC State
WVU
GT

LSU fans don’t regret it at all. We completely dominate T5&7 in every shape and form and they help bring a lot more money into our conference. Where’s the regret? Texas will be another aTm and that’s just more money for LSU and they’ll never get into our way. I’m grateful both schools are in. Speak for yourself

Texas is solely responsible for the breakup of the Big 12. It was a perpetual cancer to the league. It will find a way to push itself to the front of the line in the SEC. It will want priority. It will want the most money. It will want the most exposure. It will want the SEC offices to move to Dallas. It will want the SEC basketball tournament to move there, as well. Texas has always been about Texas. The SEC will regret adding them.

If the rest of the Texas fanbase is like some of the posters that have shown up here, I already regret Texas coming into the SEC

I bet you make very very poor investment decisions. Which one of the teams you mention ADD market share to the conference?

Maybe one of the two Virginia teams. The only reason to add to the conference is to increase revenue. If you make decisions with your dumbass emotions, you usually lose money. Not that it matters. Luckily the people running the ship aren’t listening to you mongoloids. We’re here, we’re queer, we will not disappear. Hope your head explodes over that one peaches.

Aggie has been fine. Surprisingly fine. Yes, their cheer dudes are gay. But as a fit in the SEC ? They've been great. Oklahoma will be outstanding. They'll fit right in. Wish they could have brought Oklahoma State with them.

You are right, however, regarding the Longhorns. They have the capacity to seriously screw this conference. Not by dominating it on the field. But by all their demands and requirements off of it. And nobody politics quite like those folks in Austin.

I wish they had went to the PAC-12 instead. They'd be happier with a conference they can control. I'd be happier as well.

Texas will be the move that defines the Greg Sankey legacy. And that legacy will not be good. The only upside will be that Texas will not stay ten years. They'll be out of the SEC before I die.
