From what I understand his first year salary was guaranteed on June 1st as part of the rookie salary structure. Maybe that's just for cap purposes though and they don't have to pay him even if his salary counts against the cap though. NFL contracts are wonky things. As of June 1st they can't use his salary to sign another player cap-wise though.

I really don't understand why people like hating on Bennett so much.
Frankly, the kid is living a dream life. He was the starting QB for two UGA national championship teams and made nearly 2 million dollars through NIL deals in the process. He spent a ton of time in college in Athens which is a great place. Now he's in the NFL making another million dollars a year for however long he holds on there.
Once done he'll likely come back to athens and do commercials for local car dealerships and maybe have a radio gig and make six figures a year with 3-6 million dollars in the bank.
All as a kid who was considered too short and too weak armed to make a career out of football.
Bennett is living a charmed life. Insulting him is just silly at this point.
