Joka2kold- I'm talking about a true, high quality hitting coach. I think you're referring to the Aug 9 announcement that Adam Arbour was moved from his position as Coordinator of Player Management to a position where he coaches hitters and catchers. Ryan Iamurri has been elevated to take Arbour's Coordinator position.
Arbour is not what I would consider a proven, high quality hitting coach. He's just somebody on staff who Murphy loyally designated to do that job.
I fear Murphy is going to screw up this golden opportunity to improve Bama's hitting.
