He wasn't a bum, but for a 5*, #1-rated QB, he really never progressed beyond serviceable QB.

Wrong system, not vocal. A bit harsh though to call the Career Yards Passing Leader in University of Florida history "serviceable."

Chris Leak never progressed into a super star, but was an above average QB. Greg McElroy would be an example of a serviceable QB.

He dealt with multiple OC’s and never progressed correctly. He was never incredible but he pretty much saved his best performance for our national championship game and his swan song.

This is why i hate Florida fans.

Chris Leak was a hell of a player who got shifted in between two offensive systems that were not for him. He chose the wrong school period.

Even in a system not fit for him at all he won a NC.
