But...the offense did work against SEC teams last year. Should have beat Auburn, a bad pick 6 away from beating Florida a obscure punt rule from beating UK (which btw is no longer a rule), and came within 2 yards of beating the National Champs (Shrader got caught from behind.) Kudos to UGAs safety for not giving up on that play BTW.

Cook was only responsible for the bad pick 6 at Florida. The rest were not in his control. Point is,the offense can work in the SEC, especially if the OL and running game is better.

Not playing Horn is an opportunity cost, though, because he will improve with experience and can obviously do things Cook can't. This is Cook's ceiling. You won't get more.
As Mizzou fans, we ignore the 5-6 interceptions Cook could have had last year but for some luck.
What if Pinkel had gotten a mancrush on Chase Patton and Chase Daniel got some series here and there and wasn't allowed to throw much?

He was dog shite at the UK game I was at.

Especially his stupid arse fumble.
