This sock less, hoodie vest, tight skinny jeans wearing guy had his players lifting weights on the sidelines, doing silly choreographed dances that they were actually graded on, flashing gang signs, throwing fake money with their HCs fat face pictured on it, hosting Waffle House Wednesdays, refusing to eat catsup - it’s RED! And they won’t wear red or eat it cause it’s UGAs color.

I actually remember hearing about some team that did this. I honestly don't remember who it was, though.

It ALL happened. Didn’t you see the weight lifting on tv? The announcers were having a hard time keeping themselves from laughing like hyenas over this.

Ever heard of the juice squad? They were the chorus girl wanna bees who were required to dance and show “ juice” on the sidelines and if they didn’t dance enthusiastically enough a guy with a clipboard made note of it.

Your former coaches attire is there for anyone who cares enough to pull up a GT game. An overweight middle aged guy in skinny jeans isn’t a pretty sight so you can be forgiven for not doing so.

Waffle House Wednesdays were as real as that Waffle House cup that was permanently affixed your HCs hand. GT fans have long claimed that they refuse to wear red or eat catsup. Long before Collins tenure. The tv announcers talked about this weirdo thing during one of our UGA/GT games nThey made a mistake though when they said UGA fans don’t eat mustard. All while the cameras were zeroing in on a UGA fan eating a hot dog covered with mustard.
As a life long UGA fan this was certainly news to me. I eat it - always have - and have never heard of a Dawg fan refusing to eat it. We don’t care enough about GT to do such a ridiculous thing.
They are only on our radar when we are forced to play them or when some GT nerd makes ridiculous posts.

As for gang signs your former HC and his assistant coaches posed for a photo flashing gang signs.I saw it online. It could have been photo shopped but I doubt that since this Collins guy did some of the most idiotic things I’ve ever seen. I think this photo was during his first year. GT didn’t make a peep. Guess they didn’t want the embarrassment of trying to defend this and not having money to fire him, tamped it down and ignored it.

And there was “money down” money that was thrown during Collins inane “money down” stunt. And the bills had Collins fat face on them. I think this and some of these other gimmicks were short lived as even some the Tech people were embarrassed at Collins antics.
Hated to see them end. It was really funny watching GT trying so hard to be cool.

how stupid do you have to be to deny things that have so very obviously actually happened and can be verified with just 2 minutes of googling?
