When was the last time Georgia played at College Station in a 14-team conference?

The 2024, 8-game schedule is a joke. Play a 10-game schedule or stop pretending to be a conference.

I understand Skankey is holding out for more money from the broke Mickey Mouse company that he's hitched our wagon to. However despite sharing the same woke agenda as those in DC, the Tragic Kingdom folks aren't authorized to print money like the socialist ruining America.

Hope the '24 SEC season ends in a 6-way tie for first or second place to showcase the absurdity of an 8-game schedule for a 16-team conference.

This is what happens when greed trumps common sense decision making.

I’m good with 8. It’s not hurting the SEC’s chances of making the playoffs. With the removing of Divisions in a conference you can play 8 and still have a home&home with every team in the conference at least once every 6 years. That also keeps a couple of permanent rivalries.

I just wish the SEC, BIG10, Big 12, and ACC would all make a uniform scheduling rule to go to 10 conference games, plus play at least 1 OOC game against one of the above leagues. That leaves one optional game to fill out however a team wants.

I agree with the 9 game schedule but I also agree that it is a big bargaining chip to negotiate a better deal with ESPN. If Disney can keep ponying up to make these woke garbage movies, then they can pony up for the best product that they have; SEC Football.

Well Picklebrain, in the first place, it's obvious, you have little in common with common sense.

We know. We don't want the Big 12 rejected here. But alas college football is run by incompetent men.

I don't think we need a 10-game conference schedule, but this thing is headed to a 9-game schedule.

I agree that 16 is on the edge of being too big.

Anything bigger than 16 starts to feel like a mob, but I think that's what we're in for as soon as the ACC starts to crack.

"Woke" doesn't have anything to do with it, despite what the pumpkin headed screamers on fringe media say. ESPN has a cord cutting problem.
