Losing two of your most recognizable players from the previous decade. Collins was a beast. Great player.
I know it just a game but both of those players made huge impact on my son. Hopefully this will motivate him. Playing for Charleston as a starting lineman. Same school Ty Storey was from.

I absolutely understand, us fanatics feel like we know these guys, especially the ones who played when we were kids.

If something were to happen to Matt Flynn or Jacob Hester I’d be sick.

I haven’t been able to think of words to say.

My heart is out to his family and loved ones.

We all had a heartbreaking loss…

I heard there's something in the water but that's probably all just hogwash.

Both Alex Collins and Ryan Mallett passed away in Florida.

Only the Lord knows when our time comes.

This is a tough one. Budda was an outstanding young man. My best memory of Alex is how after the end of a play he would jump up and immediately look for the closet official to hand the ball too...even to the point of running several yards. Not tossing the ball or dropping it on the ground but handing the ball to the official. He did this after every play in college and the NFL.

He loved playing for the Hogs and was loved by Arkansas fans in return.

Rest In Peace AC3.

Been trying to process this since last night. Man, hit me hard for some reason. I remember all the drama surrounding his signing day and how bad he wanted to be a Hog. He was a great ambassador for us. Smith, Mallet, and now AC3.... man
this has been a rough few months for Hog Football.

Collins was driving eastbound on his motorcycle along Oakland Park Boulevard Sunday evening just after 10 p.m. when Broward Sheriff’s Office detectives said a woman driving a Chevrolet Suburban turned from the westbound lanes onto Northwest 33rd Avenue, causing both vehicles to collide.

Same bullshite, different day.

Everyone who has ever ridden a motorcycle knows these "I didn't see him" left turn fools are the biggest danger out there.

More people on bikes are killed by these idiots than any other reason. The courts slap them on the wrist and away they go.
