I loved Bryce. He helped LSU win the West in Kelly’s first season. No hate here. I just know he is overrated.

Interestingly, the QBs that did fairly well were A) given the time and reps to get past first jitters and just start balling, and B) were mostly the older guys. People like to bag on Bennett, but OConnell, Clifford, and Haener are all older rookies as well. Even DTR is 23.
I get trying to keep the investment from getting dinged up, but this is football. You can get hurt in practice. Maybe some of these poverty franchises wouldn’t always be dependent on a overly expensive rookie QB if they let them make some mistakes in preseason games and get needed live reps.

No idea why he was picked #1 overall, his size alone (smaller than stetson) is the worst risk assessment I have seen in a while with the current OL.
