So you’re telling me the top player in the state of Texas chose Texas over LSU, and you thought you’d come here to troll about your biggest rival gaining a 5-star? On the same day that one of the top players in Texas chose LSU over Texas A&M?

Short sighted 18 year olds and their parents jumping at bags of cash rather than concerning themselves with championships or being properly developed for the NFL.

Oh this is sad. Texas has landed the top in state guy once in the last decade and our RB coach has landed an out of state rb only once in his time at lsu. Y’all should be worried the two schools are breaking ground in Dallas

Actually I am just adding a shitty thread to a board that has been full of shitty threads all week long.

I think this shitty thread fits in quite well on the rant this week.

LSU fan critical of losing players to bags of cash is hilarious. Texas with NIL isn't going to be losing players to SEC bags of cash at the same rate as in the past. A&M has proven you can't just buy the players and win, it takes coaching, culture, etc, but NIL gives UT the chance to be a monster.

OU has proven for many decades that you can buy players and win.

The truth is that Texas was willing to go all in for Simmons. He was a make or break recruit for them as the #1 player out of Texas. The horns have signed the top recruit in Texas once in the last decade. LSU signed a 5 star edge rusher last season and have quite a few good ones on roster so getting him would be great, but not critical.

What LSU has done so far this cycle is get the 2 of the fastest players in Texas. Jelani Watkins (WR) the 6A 200 meter champ who also runs a 10.33 100 and Caden Durham (RB and OU legacy) who runs a sub 4.4 40 from the same school as Simmons.

We got Perkins out of Texas.

Pimpton was a Texas kid too at TE. He will be all SEC before he's done.

Bottom line: LSU will be just fine.

Are you just salty that one of the best players in A&M history said his biggest mistake was not going to Texas??? You can try and deny it but I know that it was a dagger to the heart to all A&M fans.. It's hilarious
