The B1G wasn't going to give an equal sharing of revenue to begin with.

B1G was never going to invite Missouri, period. It wasn't even a consideration on their end. You're lucky as hell that the SEC was short sighted enough to let you tag along with A&M.
It was Missouri turning down the B1G when the offer wasn't a full revenue sharing. Nebraska took a pay cut to get out of Texas shadow and Missouri was trying to do the same but found a conference that said would get a fair share of the revenue. Now Texas is joining the SEC next year. They won't get the other Texas schools to get the votes. Texas A&M is the only other Texas school in the SEC. In the SEC it is about as equal as it can be so far. No one State has the power to control the SEC. It is about balance and not a lopsided Texas with so many Texas schools in the conference that made it easier to control the conference. The Northern schools got screwed over. But the new Big 12 is fine now because Texas is no longer going to be in that conference to control it.
