B1G is overplaying their hand and going to end up busting. Eventually this expansion shite will equate to diminishing returns.

BIG 10 has plenty of money to play with right now, and their new additions don't get a full share. They are playing the long game. Their next media deal will be massive.

The SEC can't expand. ESPN owns SEC and ACC. They aren't going to pay $60 million for FSU in the SEC when they already own it for $30 million. And that goes for Clemson and everyone else in the ACC.

We'd only take the FSU's (to my dismay) and Clemson's of the world. The top tiers of a conference. Otherwise, no, we're not going to expand just to expand.

Looking at the Big 10 now, there are several tiers as far as value:

1st tier
Ohio State
Michigan
Penn State
USC

2nd tier
Wisconsin
Oregon
UCLA
Nebraska

3rd tier
Purdue
Minnesota
Indiana
Illinois
Northwestern
Washington
Maryland
Iowa
Michigan State

4th tier
Rutgers

The ACC looks like this:

1st tier
FSU
Clemson

2nd tier
Miami
UNC
Duke

3rd tier
NC State
Duke
Virginia
Virginia Tech

4th tier
Pitt
Louisville
Wake Forest
Boston College
Georgia Tech

Definitely some diminishing returns if we choose to expand with ACC teams.

Exactly ^^^^^^ this.

Even most B1G fans are saying exactly this.
