Same with Twitter and Reddit too. Ripping on Mizzou has pretty much just become a meme that everyone is in on
I also believe fear comes into play here. If Mizzou ever got it's ish together, they would become a force in sports. Tom Osborne wasn't lying when he called it a sleeping giant.

You could name 20 different sports, and Missouri wouldn’t be good at any of them.
They are average in some, but 98% of the rest they are completely irrelevant.
Arkansas sucks at football, but literally every other sport we succeed in.
Vandy has Baseball.
Missouri literally is good at nothing.

Oh, that’s because the team is garbage. High school level players that wanted to say they played in college so the go to hillbilly U bc no one else would recruit them. Other than that it’s a solid program!!

Arkansas has taken plenty of grief, especially during the 10 year post Petrino stretch, but our fans generally agreed with the criticism.
Every team gets picked on at some point.

No. It makes no sense whatsoever. Mizzou brought nothing to the SEC other than being an even number to balance out aTm.
Just because one conference expands doesn't mean the others have to do so.

Apparently the Mizzou fans think we'll all be left in the dust if we don't expand to keep up with the B1G, despite the fact we have nine of the top 25 highest earning programs and 11/25 if you count OU and Tejas.

While I am not a fan of OU and TX joining the SEC, at least they bring a history of success.
Mizzou hasn't won a conference championship since Dan Devine was coaching them.
Mizzou has two national championships in its history, the most recent being in 1965, and that was track.
