South Carolina and Arkansas can stay.

Throw out Missouri and take in FSU and I am good. Missouri brings nothing to the table.

Wasn't Chase Daniels from Mizzou, before they were in the SEC? And then they had the gay linebacker.

Arkansas and South Carolina joined my freshman year and really my first year as an SEC fan, so I don’t really consider them expansion teams as it relates to me.
I’d have been fine with us stopping there.

They've been in over 30 years. Only those 40+ remember a time in the SEC without them.
ETA: 12 teams was really a good number. You had 5 Division teams to play plus 1 Perm Cross Division and 2 rotating home-home series with the Cross Division teams.

Mizzou has more successful NFL players than a lot of teams in this conference.
I understand that most here don’t know where players went to school cause their mental capacity is shite but go off.

What does that have to do with college football?

Wade, don’t act like you hadn’t slid in his DM’s asking for his OF link.
As much as you “forget about Missouri”, you’d think you wouldn’t post about us so much bitch boy.

In Mizzou's defense, they have been to as many SEC title games as Texas A&M, Ole Miss, South Carolina, Vandy, Kentucky and Miss. State combined.

Funny your Mizzou hating arse replies to me and not the two posts I replied to about the same subject.
Did a Mizzou fan turn your moms vagina into a personal cum dispenser or something?

1. Arkansas - absolutely felt like a SWC school. That has largely worn off, and they've earned their stripes.
2. South Carolina - For the life of me, I can't figure them out. They are an ACC-lite school (meaning, they pale in comparison to your overt ACC schools - Virginia, North Carolina, Wake Forest, Duke (basically, any school that values lacrosse and basketball over football and baseball)). I don't hate having them here, but for whatever reason, I still think Clemson is a better "cultural fit" for the SEC.
3. Missouri - good riddance
4. A&M - gay
5. Oklahoma - for whatever reason, I think they'll work out. They are bar none the best football school of the bunch.
6. Texas - would have been a good fit 25, 30 years ago. Texas fans (and Austin) has changed, and not for the better.

What are your thoughts on the six expansion teams? We know most would have preferred the SEC stayed at 10 teams, but here we are.
1. Arkansas
2. South Carolina
3. Missouri
4. Texas A&M
5. Oklahoma
6. Texas
They're generally good fits. I really don't know why they brought in Mizzou, it's an outlier geographically and culturally, and doesn't mesh that well with the other SWC/Big 12 additions, either.
They fit better with a Kansas/Nebraska/Iowa grouping. Oklahoma, I guess, is a bit of a bridge to them. I never thought Arkansas was.
Some of the newer additions need to quit chirping so much. You're in, act like you belong.

First, it was irrelevance, and now, it is an attempted personal attack. Don't be mad, pal. You can't blame your school's general suckage on anyone else.

Because someone convinced SEC brass "media markets" and TV revenue are in the best interest of the conference and its members. Or maybe they convinced themselves. I'm not sure.
