I didn’t know where the speeding ticket was, but the parking violation was in Athens and that’s what caused the arrest.
I’m just curious as to how they know he was the one who parked the car? Aren’t most cars registered in parents names in the title and tag, because 18yr - 20yr olds don’t have any credit.
So unless they ticketed him in person, I’m not sure how he got the warrant or actually received the initial parking violation. Maybe he did, but I receive violations all the time for my sales staff, because the cars are registered in my companies name, they have no idea who was driving.
Just curious.

The published reports state the speeding ticket was written on I-85 in Franklin County, and the reports reference the Franklin County Sheriff's Office.
A state Uniform Traffic Citation isn't simply left under the windshield wiper like a parking ticket. It is written to the person operating the vehicle.
