It's MUCH harder to win a national championship coming out of the SEC than it is to string a bunch of winning seasons together in the Big 10.
LSU is a much better program than OSU over this time frame.
Plus, those two teams met on the field once and settled that definitively.

Would you like me to post each teams 3 or more loss seasons over that time frame? When LSU is good they're great. They also tend to be average to above average a lot of seasons.
