BTW, you may recall the first loss of that season was a huge matchup against LSU, which JaMarcus Russell won in OT.

That was a great football game. My last trip to Bryant-Denny, the best pre-game flyover ever, made better of course by a favorable ending. I really thought you guys were back and that Shula was the real deal.

The last (and only) time UGA lost 8 games was in 1953. UGA lost 7 games only 4 times aside from that.

How does only 5 seasons ever with 7+ losses stand up to others?

The 2017 Vols were almost as bad as the 2019 Razorbacks.

Technically we are. Your (our) commish says so.

Nope, if that were the case, the TAMU Natty would be in the SEC not the B12

Fair point but I have the feeling Vol fans feel like this has happened often since the Pfat Man left.

Feels like longer than 10 years ago given what Stoops has done in the grand scheme of Kentucky Football history.

fricking Joker and his shitty MAC recruiting.
I sat through every game at Commonwealth that season! Last year I had season tickets before work schedule change forced me to give them up.

A vacated win isn’t treated as a loss

Nope. When games are vacated it as if the game was never played. The game doesn’t become a loss.

Tennessee- never

Ah yes, 2006 Mississippi State, the team that lost at home to Tulane a year after Katrina and then proceeded to win a game in Tuscaloosa.

So I did some digging. Your official record is 0-7 for 2020. So I guess technically you didn't lose 9 games since you don't even get credit for those games now.

Florida has a great chance this season to break that streak.

Hard to believe more of those LSU teams from the 90s did not lose 9 games
