Hey guy...I hope you realize how dumb comments like this make you look. We would have tore Texas into so many pieces the last two seasons that the buzzards would not have even known where to start, and you and everyone else knows it. If you don't think so, you're too ignorant about football to even be talking about it. I realize that Sugar bowl win is all you really have to hang on to when trying to come back against UGA, but saying stuff like this makes you look silly. There are other Texas fans on here that are alot more honest, intelligent, and realistic on the subject. Take some notes from them.

The truth is, I'm not as down on Texas as some of the others posters are that are ripping you guys. I don't even have a problem with them. In fact, I hope they mop the floor with the Tide this season.

The Big 12 is every bit "as deep" as the SEC. Right now, the SEC has 2 elite teams, 2 very good teams, and a bunch of abortions that think they matter because of the accomplishments of other schools. It's really kind of sad.

Every SEC team since expansion has had 2 or more 9+ win seasons including Vandy

We have more depth and disparity than any other conference

Your own fellow bullpuppy fan said that the players WHO ACTUALLY PLAYED IN THE GAME "didn't want to be there." To me, that's saying "my team has no pride, no heart."

Take heart Mr. Bunny.

It's only one more year until you Longhorns can "didn't wanna be there".... Just like the Bulldogs did that year.

Until then... if you lose a bowl game...you suck.

Texas is 17-9 vs you fricks since scholarship limits. You won your only NC* while there were no limits.

Yep, it’s a lot closer now even with you having a heck of a lot bigger recruiting base. Thanks for pointing that out.

And I have the utmost respect for Georgia and their recent accomplishments. I'm looking forward to playing regularly. But I'm gonna make fun of any of you who diss Texas, mainly because it amuses me, but mostly because it's the right thing to do. Just like I wouldn't expect to throw shade at Arkansas or LSU or Bama without results being thrown in my face, a Georgia fan ain't throwing shade at Texas without getting clowned on. You have a good day!

We've always played by the same set of rules. Again, dude, you're using aggy logic. You're better than that.

If we lose, we lose. I'd sooner gouge out my own eyes than ever stoop to such a weak excuse.

Wait till you go to Starkville and leave with your tail between your legs. Even the worst teams in the conference can give you a game and wear you out. Will also deplete your squad so hard to get to the end of the season with the original troops.

That really is the difference. You can't "get up" for a game or two and coast through the rest.

Texas will learn the hard way. It's going to be an eye-opener for them.

The SEC is crazy. 9 times out of 10 if my team is on bye week, I will watch a horrible sec matchup over any other matchup.
If we’re taking big SEC matchups, Texas gets UF, UGA, @A&M and @Ark in 2024.
Who’s the first team to take an L and give them some juice on the SECr?
My vote is UF and @A&M.

Texas and OU fans believing the Big 12 is as tough as the SEC is just stupid. Their comments make them look like they haven’t watched NCAA football in the past 24 years.

Since the BCS started in 1998 and continuing on through 2022. The following SEC programs have won a National Championship…..

Tennessee
LSU - multiple
Alabama - multiple
Florida - multiple
Auburn
Georgia - multiple

That’s basically half the damn conference!

Now, if someone wants to, list all the Big 12 nattys during that same time, feel free!

Further more, the 2021 active NFL rosters by conference (what my search brought up) had the SEC at 505 players and the Big 12 at 207.

Just a joke of a conversation!

To be completely fair.

It’s a different time.

Mizzy and Aggy haven’t really brought much to this league.

Not trying be an a-hole, but they haven’t.

Then they either forfeited their bowl game or messaged via a back channel that they didn’t want to play a particular opponent.

Underwhelming additions.

That is a very reasonable way to look at; no arguments here. It will be up to the new guys to perform or not

The Big 12 Champion lost the title game last year to the SEC Champion 65 to 7. Think about that for a second. Georgia ran the clock out or it would have been 72 to 7. That was your one loss Conference Champion! That Championship score differential will stand 100 years….if it’s ever broken.

I remember when this happened. I knew it was a bad idea. Rancher here. Large animals like cattle and horses on spindly legs are instinctual about threats to their legs. That’s why we use dogs to pen our cows. But one dog, one steer. I knew that steer that’s hand fed and lives like a king would not truck a damned dog. Almost got the dog and the queer handling the dog hooked. Thought it’d make s great encounter. Wrong. You’d think the handlers of the dog, which is world famous would be more aware of danger to the dog. I know the Corp handlers for our mascot Reville are. I know, they thought it’d be funny. I know our rival Texas takes great pains to screen who they let around Bevo. Dog weight 40lbs, Steer weight 15-1700 lbs steer wins every time. I don’t know if you’ve ever watched Bevo, but he does whatever the hell he wants to with those Texas boys hanging on.

Utx has QB's that crumple in a single SEC game, imagine a schedule of them.
