As a loooong time Texas Aggie who has spent many a year with the horns (more so than most of y’all) ….
I’m with the ladies from ATX on this one.
UTex doesn’t GAF about the ‘horns down’ dorkism.
It’s dumb.
But somewhere along the way, Sooners—and to some extent, RBacks—convinced themselves they were taking the piss outta UTex by flashing the horns down.
Some of our new Army Aggie kiddos (who didn’t grow up with A&M/t.u.) have joined in on the horns down nonsense, simply bc they know no better.
That’s on us older Ags; we need to step in and kick those Ags in the butt.
I could write a missive on why t.u. sucks; but throwing up horns down is sophomoric, low-hanging fruit—at least for the farmers from TAMC.

The horns down has been used since I can remember dating back to the 60’s. No one ever complained about it until recently. I guess since texas has fallen on hard times it hurts their feelings now and consider it rubbing salt in their wounds.
They have become very soft and it’s a bad look. If they don’t like it, then quit losing.

In y'alls defense it is really hard to do the horns down sign with a dildo in each hand...
