Oh, I get it.
LSU's losses don't matter, regardless of when or under what circumstances they occur.
Did it impact LSU making the SEC Championship Game?

What about LSU's victory over Florida in 2015? Does that game count or matter? It ultimately didn't stop Florida from winning their division, and LSU was never going to with their candy arse play down the stretch. Should we erase that LSU victory from the record books?
I dont see LSU fans starting threads today about that game do you? I mean, Im not going to tell my kids about the great florida game of 2015 that ultimately didnt mean anything. You will though, because apparently it hurt your feelings.
I mean, by your logic, only championship games or those that directly affect championships matter. So does LSU's victory over Alabama in 2010 not count too since Auburn was the West champion?
Of course it counts. It absolutely counts any time your school's team laces 'em up.
We have a meaningful regular season in this sport where century-old rivalries and traditions have been passed down for generations, for now. But if more people start to think like you, we won't for very much longer.

We've been peppering each other with questions for two pages now.
Go ahead and ask them again if you want. Here's the answer to all of them, though: no, Tennessee's whipping of LSU didn't prevent either of them from winning their division, but unless you're disregarding almost the entirety of college football history, of course the game mattered. Two things can be true at the same time.
But once you ask them, please answer the ones I've posed to you as well.
Also, try to stay on topic. If you can't address what I have asked without resorting to irrelevant personal insults, maybe you ought to sit this one out.

Congratulations on beating Ole Miss last season in your super bowl. Based on how frequently y'all storm the field when you beat us in Tiger Stadium, I know it meant a lot to y'all.
I don't know what you want me to say.
At least we can admit when we've been beaten by a better team and don't make excuses like fumbling the opening kickoff (in a game you lost by four scores).

Is there something else you play for?
Does anyone really care about the upcoming LSU/Grambling St game? Or the Tenn/Austin Peay game?

Holy over reaction. You really cant look back at the past season and say that a game didnt impact the outcome for your team? The LSU/Tenn game did not prevent LSU from going to the SEC Championship, it did not help Tenn get to the SEC Championship.

It's true Tennessee's victory didn't impact either team's divisional championship aspirations. But does that mean it doesn't matter?
If it doesn't matter, why even play the game to begin with?
What's really happening ITT is hypocrisy. I bet you'd be singing a different tune had y'all beaten Tennessee, because only LSU victories that aid them in reaching Atlanta or winning a championship of some sort count.

Yeah, because we see TennerC fans talk about their win over Alabama so much
I think it was the initial hesitancy on the Miles hire, followed by all the goofy shite he did. The Tiger fanbase became embarrassed, and everybody piled on.
Orgeron's constant dumbassery didn't help.
I think people will find we're pretty mellow now (other than a few very reactive people); everyone is satisfied with Kelly being a huge upgrade over the past 2, and he's not really even making waves. Seems like half the SEC has more drama at the HC position... a welcome change

They like to think that magical gateway win to an 11-2 season somehow wipes out that mortal wound a ragtag LSU team gave them in 2001.

I was there and it was both epic and hilarious.
For a good minute there, i thought Derek Dooley was roaming their sidelines or something with how quite their stadium went.
