It's amazing we have to educate 18 year olds on what is right and wrong. I know a lot of these kids don't have a great upbringing, but what the hell are they learning in school?

Probably get a pass on a lot of stuff in the high schools, so they think they can get away with it in real life when they get to college. Maybe the high schools should take some responsibility?

It’s just a microcosm of the rest of society and college kids at that age. Most/many kids that go to college start drinking, partying, doing drugs, etc and all that comes with it. They are free to make their own decisions, both good and bad for the first time in their lives. As the father of two children around this age, all I can do at this point is pray they don’t make bad decisions.

Have you met adults?

For most people, right and wrong boils down to purely whatever the frick they want to do. Then they'll go and bitch about how everybody else acts when they're a hypocritical piece of shite.

My personal favorites are the ones who want to talk about how these kids would all be acting better if they just took Jesus into their hearts and then they're trying to raise money for their pastor's defense fund because he's been fricking 12 year olds.

Nothing. Public schools are glorified day care centers these days. There is a large number of functioning illiterates with high school degrees these days. And it’s all by design. When was the last time you heard a candidate from either party even mention education as part of his or her agenda?

Maybe their parents should take responsibility? What kind of logic are you using?
