I don't understand how UGA would be 6 of 6 in the rankings before 2021.

After the 2016 season, here is where teams ranked in all-time AP points (25 pts for a 1st place finish, 24 pts for 2nd, etc)

2. Bama- 1015
9. Tennessee- 686
11. LSU- 624
13. Auburn- 555
14. Georgia- 550
16. Florida- 499

At that time, Florida and LSU had 3 National Titles, Auburn and Tennessee had 2. And Georgia had just one.

Georgia was easily 6th out of 6. Not until UGA won its second title in 2021 did they pull ahead of Auburn and Florida.

Huh? That's not the official AP all-time rankings. This is after the 2021 season:

Ohio St
Bama
OU
ND
USC
Michigan
Nebraska
Texas
UF

LSU
FSU
Pedo St
Miami
UGA

Vols
Auburn
UCLA
Clemson
A&M

Washington
Sparty
Arky
Wisconsin
Iowa

If AP points and MNCs are your criteria, this makes sense. What about other data points?

Winning percentage
Wins
Conference titles
Bowl Games
etc?
