Zero SEC Championships, not even a single appearance in the game. Losing record vs the rest of the conference, only 1 NC in last 30+ years..

Oklahoma and Texas will not be in the rankings until they each win a national championship while in the SEC. When that happens, they can be mentioned.

Penn State’s position in the B1G can be up for discussion as well. While in the B1G, they’ve had one undefeated season, a few conference titles. Their other undefeated seasons and two national titles occurred as an Independent. This is OU and Texas basically. Success in other places, but not in SEC. Both will have to win a NC in the SEC to be allowed in the rankings.

Here’s my list:

1. Alabama
2. Georgia
3. Tennessee
4. LSU
5. Florida
6. Auburn
7. Mississippi
8. Georgia Tech
9. Arkansas
10. Kentucky
11. Mississippi State
12. South Carolina
13. Missouri
14. Texas A&M
15. Vanderbilt

GT is included because of:
- 5 SEC titles
- undefeated in 1951 and 1952, and had a legit gripe to have the 1952 NC

Did you realize that OU has never won a NC or playoff game against an SEC team?

They are 0 for the bunch

1950-OU NC, lost to Kentucky in the bowl
2003- lost to LSU
2008- lost to Florida
2017- lost to Georgia
2018- lost to Alabama
2019- lost to LSU
