We have a weak schedule.

Part of it is Georgia Tech's fault for being so limp wristed in football.

Part of it is being told by the league office to cancel the Oklahoma game.

But the bottom line is we have a weak schedule. No selective data set can make a convincing argument otherwise.

This year, yes. The past 2 years, no.

Let’s say we do the unprecedented and go 3 in a row. Looking at our 2023 schedule, I’d wager 10/15 we would play still make a bowl game. That’d be a 3 year run of facing 71% bowl teams.

and like you said, its not UGA's fault, and UGA has taken full advantage of it, so who cares? They took care of business in the playoffs against the best teams in the country and won two titles in a row.

UGAs schedule is generally on par with the rest of the SEC...this season is an outlier because the marquis out of conference game we have been playing most seasons recently was cancelled for some inexplicable reason.

The number of bowl teams played to win a natty is easily UGAs record and may never be broken. UGA has played 4 bowl teams on the road to back to back natty's with a combined record of 49-8....of the 8 losses 4 came against UGA so those teams were 49-4 against teams other than UGA. It don't matter what the regular season record of UGAs opponents was UGA beat 4 of the best teams in the nation each of the last 2 seasons...and has lost one game in 2 years and none during the regular season. Yes, 2023 schedule looks weak right now but there is a pretty good shot that USC, UT, UK and Ole Miss all may turn out to be pretty good and UGAs schedule by end of year may not look as weak as it assuredly does in July...

Meh

Same was said about last year and we ended playing/beating 7 ranked (AP final) top 25 teams...4 in the regular season schedule.

Gotta love these SECW yahoos chiming in on our schedule when their division was complete dogshit last year.

Y’all really need to drop Tech like we did Tulane years ago.
