USCw decided out of the blue at some point to become offended at being called "Southern Cal".

I am surprised no one has mentioned that LSU Tigers do not like to be called Louisiana State Tigers.

I asked but none of them responded. I've never known of this phenomenon. I assume sports announcers, sports djs, etc. are not aware either.
UGA or Georgia, either always seemed to be good enough for us.

It's hilarious how they thought they "made it" by joining the Big 12, only to see it implode literally 2 minutes later.

wasnt aware of this. mississippi i think state. old miss is always ole miss the school or teams. they're both big dick SEC programs so tie goes to the runner, whereas if i play an audio clip of someone talking about "louisiana" you're a whacko if you picture ULL and not LSU

Fans from other teams in the Big 12 referred to UCF as Central Florida.
