Dude…. The pony of taking teams based on record stands on its own. He didn’t say Bama should be there. They could support LSU, Tennessee, or anyone else.

The point specifically about Bama was if Bama would have been favored over all but one team that was selected, why aren’t they in? There has to be something the selection committee is missing. No doubt Bama or LSU, or UT would have given Ga a better game.

Try reading his entire thought on the comments. What Saban said is good for college football, not just UA.

Saban said that UGA was one of the 4 best teams in college football but DID NOT deserve to be in the playoff (2018 season).

His words are empty.
His words change with what helps his team and his job with every changing day.

Why do we get bothered by someone's changing opinions who is obviously filled with such mendacity?

Actually, I don’t think Bama would have given UGA a better game. The one way to push UGA last year was elite WR play, and Bama certainly did not have that.
