It was a bad year for ball each of the last two seasons. Not surprising an Alabama and Ohio State team that didn’t look great were still 2 of the 3 best teams tbh.

Honestly, cfb been trending downward in quality since the high watermark in 2019. There aren’t many great teams and the ones that are great are still more deficient than most great teams in the late 2010s.

I doubt you'd be making such a comment if Bama hasn't struggled since 2020. It's easy for fans who lament the fact that their team is struggling to say,
"You're team is on top because everyone else is weak." But that's just a butthurt attitude. Just because some teams that were good, like Ohio st or Bama has struggled the past few seasons doesn't mean all of cfb has fallen off.
