Neyland and Sanford are ranked way too high. Neyland is the biggest dump of any SEC stadium. It looks like they can't even afford to paint it. Sanford is just underwhelming for its size.

Josh Pate said Neyland was the loudest he’d been to. I’d say Death Valley (not the gay Clemson one) and the Swamp also could be the loudest. I don’t get all the love for Willy B though, been to several there and it wasn’t all that loud. Kyle Field has great fans but the stadium doesn’t seem to retain noise. Stanford seemed loud as shite against us last season but I haven’t been there in quite a while

The Vols, I am sure, put on a good show. When they are ranked highly. I've seen a lot of dead Tenn. crowds over the years though.

Any fanbase in the middle of a run like Dooley/Butch/Pruit era is going to have some shite crowds.

Getting wedged between Junior and Lulu in a seat built for a toddler is not the different kind of experience that I am looking for when I go watch a game.

Let’s be honest, you probably give junior and lulu a run for their money.

Louisiana is even more obese than Tennessee is.

But, let's be honest: the country's obesity is fricking embarrassing. The only state that can brag about being somewhat lean is probably Colorado.

Neyland ambiance is skinny sky screamer WWE/Nascar fans having meth seizures, mixed with obese Junior's filling the seating section with a thick green mist of gas from too many pre-game Krystals sliders and chili cheese fries

LSU, UF and Auburn are the loudest due to the way they are built. Of those 3 Auburn probably offers the most pagentry and LSU overall experience. Tennessee would be next then Bama and UGA. I thought A&M was neat and unique but it is a notch down compared to other SEC stadiums. Arkansas is very underated and can get very loud.

How do you not include tailgating as a barometer?

Sanford Stadium is the least pageantry stadium I’ve ever been to.

It probably only felt that way to you, cuz your team was getting prison-raped on the field. Pageantry is hard to come by during a bloodbath.

I was at the SC game this year. I was very impressed. The stadium doesn’t have the highest capacity but it’s pretty steep so the noise is stacked. The rooster crow, 2001: space oddyssey, sandstorm, and the towels were all working. It was rocking in there.

But I was also at the Bama game in Neyland this year, and there’s no other stadium that could beat that. Equal it, sure.

Also LOL at Death Valley. It wasn’t loud at all. It started emptying out at halftime. nb4 it was only 11am and the opening kickoff was fumbled

Probably so...I hear Little 10 fans are great at...blowing. The Ohio st football is pretty good at blowing too, as in, blowing a big lead and going down in flames.

This all depends on how your team is doing and who you are playing and how they are doing...

And how the game is going.

As an OU fan I am excited to see SEC teams come in to Norman because there will be excitement that is usually reserved for the biggest of non con games right now.

I fully expect that SEC crowds will ramp it up for OU and Texas the first couple of times they come to town as well.

Finally, there are many OU fans who say Knoxville was the loudest place they've been. But again, it was a big time non con game for Tennessee. A revenge game, and the way the game played out... perfect for crowd noise until the final play.

It will be interesting to see how the LSU crowd is when OU shows up in '24 as far as comparison. Besides the two program there is certainly some spark driven by the '04 Sugar Bowl fan interactions...

I get it. But it's an opinion from one guy.

Honestly, for me, if I were playing today I would say (In no particular order):

LSU
South Carolina
Auburn
Clemson might rank up there and probably Florida.
