Jah-Marien Latham is a good player. Solid SEC D limeman. He was probably the 4th lineman (even before the Burroughs issue). Anquin Barnes has huge upside and is very physically talented (1st Rd upside), but really struggles with assignments, so he's limited in Saban's system due to that for now. The true freshman 5* James Smith looks like he will be special according to those around the program. Renaud should also be very good, but will need to put on weight. Maybe this will be the year Damon Payne decides he wants it. Tons of talent, but hasn't bought completely in to S&C yet. Goodwine has good potential.

All in all, it's a very talented group. It's kind of a make or break year for Roach (DL coach), though. It's not much of a secret that his seat is pretty hot.

The starters will all be very good to elite. Better than last year for sure.

Oatis can be a 1st rd guy has to show consistent push up the middle though.

All this is speculation though, not what I'm use to seeing out of Alabama. I remember when a young Darron Payne was flashing in 2015-17 with that group Alabama had, I remember Quinnien did the same when Payne was the upper classmen. I just don't see that on tape last year from AL. Good players not dominant
