With Burroughs in the portal I really Alabama's D-line will be easier to run on this year I only see 4-5 quality d-linemen with experience.

Watching LSU’s walk-on RB run through and over Gump defenders was fun.

I remember when teams actually feared Alabama’s defense

You'll see more when you get to Tuscaloosa.

The days of Pete Golding are over. Our defense won't be a bunch of pussies anymore.

They have plenty of talent. Turner is a beast, thought he played better than Anderson last year.

Keep lying to yourself through July and August - every player on Bama's DL will be better than their LSU OL matchup - and that will include Bama's 2-deep rotation.

Jah-Marien Latham is a good player. Solid SEC D limeman. He was probably the 4th lineman (even before the Burroughs issue). Anquin Barnes has huge upside and is very physically talented (1st Rd upside), but really struggles with assignments, so he's limited in Saban's system due to that for now. The true freshman 5* James Smith looks like he will be special according to those around the program. Renaud should also be very good, but will need to put on weight. Maybe this will be the year Damon Payne decides he wants it. Tons of talent, but hasn't bought completely in to S&C yet. Goodwine has good potential.

All in all, it's a very talented group. It's kind of a make or break year for Roach (DL coach), though. It's not much of a secret that his seat is pretty hot.

LSU56 seems like a legitimate new poster.

LSU56 seems like a quality poster that will contribute much to this sports talk forum. He is most definitely not NFLSU, or LSUStephen, or Herman Frisco.

Psychiatrists could write complete volumes on the inferiority complex of the LSU fan. It’s an amazing, yet sad and pathetic disorder. The main symptoms cause them to be able to do nothing but obsess about and post on anonymous message boards about Alabama and Texas A&M

Sad.

Phil Steele has the Bama D-line ranked 3rd in the SEC behind Georgia and aTm. He has them ahead of LSU. I don't profess to know D-lines throughout the SEC, but I do feel like Bama's interior will be improved... to include the middle LB position where To'o To'o was woefully undersized against the run.
