I literally had to google what the Director’s Cup is.

Then you "literally" know it ranks schools according to their strength in sports, right? Man, we have had threads about the Director's up on here all the time.

Just to be clear, I know somewhere between 2-3 teams will pass us in the SEC after baseball is figured in, but it is always dumb to say Georgia (or any other school) is only good at one sport until you check out the current Learfield Director's Cup standings. It takes all sports into consideration. Typically from the SEC, Florida and LSU do very, very well, as does Georgia.

To be fair, the Director's Cup covers a really wide range of sports, most of which nobody on TD gives a shite about. Look at Stanford, they've won it virtually every year on the strength of water polo, men's gymnastics, and other sports where they field teams but there aren't a lot of other universities competing. Given the demographics of this board, it's not a relevant metric of success in collegiate athletics.
