Ok. We were still consensus.
AP was still a new service at that point, and did not carry as much weight as it obviously does now. They also named their champion before bowls were played.
That said you can pick/believe what you want, but we have 4.
(So, obviously I can believe what I want, and Georgia claims it, so....)
ETA
Let me put it this way. If I picked a title that Oklahoma claims and said I don't accept it, how much sleep would you lose over it?
