T. Boone Pickens Foundation makes $120 million donation to Oklahoma State University
Earlier in the year we revealed a $325 million athletic plan.
Get us in the SEC. I don’t see any east coast schools pissing money right now.

Why would you want to be in the SEC? I would much rather be the Ohio State/Michigan of the Big 12. TCU went to the playoff, you can too.

These are the SEC’s chief interests.
OK State is not even a periphery consideration. SEC would probably take WVU or NC State before it took OK State. Virtually every Southern ACC school (besides Wake) is preferable to OK State.
Just win the B12, make the playoffs, and out-recruit OU as a result. That’s the best you can do. Don’t worry about the SEC.

I know that sounds like a lot, but it's not even two years of annual payouts in the SEC.
