OU message boards and Twitter base are a bunch of whiny, cucked bitches. Those losers don’t go to games, especially away games.

OU is going to do just fine in the SEC. Their fans will mesh with the SEC.

Bama is real close to the elite talent plus has way way way more history now. They also have the goat coach.

Not even comparable

This is an actual article?

No. Some schmuck was told to write something so he copied replies to one dudes Twitter post and called it an article. True journalism no longer exists.

You're over-reacting to a very small segment of those posting on DB. I've been posting there from the beginning and prior to that on Land Thieves. There have always been some opposed to OU going to any other conference. Some are nothing more than pant's-pissers. Others are fake OU fans who are afraid of what will happen to their real schools.

Venables threw some shots at Auburn in 2020 during the coaching search. When he runs out of the opposing teams tunnel in JHS in 2024 he will feel the love!

Not a knock but respectfully it appears they have a long way to go. Just starting with the gameday experience and tailgating. They do not allow parking on campus. Is it true no alcohol allowed on campus?
How strict are the police with alcohol entering the stadium?
Some SEC stadiums if you don't have a bottle they give you one at the entrance....... joke but you get my point.
The boys from Red Stick will riot!

Seriously? Alabama has a huge edge in in-state talent and are surrounded by states even richer in talent. Oklahoma is entirely dependent on Texas but they'll never be the dream school for Texas kids. In talent rich East Texas they're way on down the board.

Then why did we just have practically a top 5 recruiting class after going 6-6?

It’s not that hard to recruit to OU. And now we have the SEC brand, so our recruiting just got that much easier. I don’t know if the SEC outside of A&M (who knows the bump they got in recruiting) realizes how much better OU’s going to be with SEC recruiting. Our records will be worse, of course, but our talent and physicality will be much better, especially on defense.

And I’ve seen that one guy’s post so much online it’s not even funny. Almost seems like SEC fans really want us to be afraid. And what isn’t being shared is the rest of that thread, where he was immediately shite on by all the other posters.

Exactly. And it's just a screenshot posted with no link or context. But look at the midwits respond to it like catnip because they want to believe it's true .

That article is outdated. OU Regents approved alcohol sales on campus in 2019. All the campus parking lots are open for those attending the games. Lots of people selling parking in the yards around the stadium. Groups set up tents on campus selling food and drinks.

Agree. It's only really tough if you compare it to a Big 12 schedule.

OU recruits Texas as good as any Texas school due to proximity to Dallas ft worth area. Also recruits MO, FL, and cali as well as any program outside those states. Top 4 class in 2023 and on track to land the top 2 DL in 2024 and several other 5 stars.
